Someone asked me out today

Y: Hello?

Y: Oh, umm...

Y: Ugh.... I was told not to say this, but I just have to.

Y: I don't want to hide anything from you.

Y: Someone asked me out today.

"You didn't say yes, did you?" (alt option of "What?! who?")

Y: Of course not!

Y: You know where my heart's at right now...

Y: I told her that I already have someone I liked.

Y: She started crying and ran away and I felt bad...

Y: But I also felt kind of good. It's been a while since someone asked me out like that.

Y: I... never even thought that I should let someone know that I like them or anything.

Y: There was this popular girl in our class when I was in middle school and my friend liked her.

Y: But there was this thing that was trending online then. If you fold 100 origami birds and write a message in them, the other person will ask you out first.

Y: Hyungsik saw that, oh his name is Hyungsik, and he asked me to help him.

Y: he already did about half and he was about to die. It takes a long time writing the messages but folding them took forever.

Y: So he asked me. He wanted to do it fast before someone asks her out first.

Y: I honestly thought to myself that he should do it on his own, but still, I helped him. I’m a pretty good friend.

Y: I didn’t really have much thoughts at first, but reading his letters changed my heart.

“Was it sweet?” ( alt option "You ready what he wrote" )

Y: I had no idea he had that side to him.

Y: He sounded so different than when he texted me.

Y: Guys are kind of like that. They have two sides to them.

Y: I could really feel how much he liked her and how sincere he was. I couldn’t even laugh.

Y: Come to think of it, I think the whole process of folding up the birds showed his love. It begins with thinking about the other person.

Y: I think it’s really brave… to tell your feelings to the other person. So you know…

Y: I really want to do this right and… Oh the professor is here.

Y: I’ll talk to you later. I gotta go! Have a good day!

“What! Who?”

Y: A freshman.

Y: She told me she fell in love with me at first sight and always sat close to me... But I’ve never seen her before.
Y: I told her that I already have someone I like.
